Stephen W. Henninger (1942 - )

Mr. Henninger holds a BA in Math and has recently retired from his career as senior technical specialist of a leading aerospace company. His long fascination with aircraft carriers led him to start a 12-year project building a 1:100 scale model of USS Enterprise. This eleven-foot model with its 85 individual aircraft now resides proudly in the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC. In recent years his efforts have been in the construction of custom yacht models and cruise ships for individuals and corporations. His models can be seen at the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum, the New York Yacht Club and the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club.
