A merchant clipper-bowed brigantine, engaged in the Triangular Trade, designed by D. J. Lawler built 1854 at Owls Head, ME. Constructed from a solid wood hull via waterline-laminated lifts with built-up bulwarks; scribed-on decking & complete deck furniture, gear and fittings per research; authentically painted w/ copper-sheathed bottom and slight weathering; fully rigged, furled sails; at anchor in a sea allowing the view of the hull below the waterline.
