SWIFT was a 10-gun, late Revolutionary War privateer brig, precursor of the famous Baltimore clipper. Built on the Chesapeake Bay ca.1778, she was 86’ in length. Solid wood hull is painted black topsides with a natural thick wale, tallow/cream bottom and red interior. Fully rigged with canted yardarms, it includes all appropriate fittings and ten brass canons.
